You can tell a lot about a place by looking at the streets and the parking lots; the motel parking lot was spotless, as were the streets.
Vernal is a sleepy town. If you're traveling through,you can face a comfy night's sleep in the Motel 6. The manager and his wife are very nice, hospitable. The rooms are cheap, and better than some Motel 6's in other states. Great stay. Would recommend.

Everything about about my room, the staff, and even the city of Vernal pointed to what is good about America. Fair price, friendly and hardworking people, and a wide variety of local and national shops.

This is the best Motel 6 that I have ever stayed at. The room was clean, nicely decorated and everything worked--TV, fridge, microwave, etc.. The person at the front desk was friendly and helpful. It was an a very nice experience at a bargain price.
We had been traveling all day and just wanted a inexpensive place to stay. Sometime that doesn't work out so well but did this time. We went to check in and ended up having a fun conversation with the owner right away. We got to our room, it was very clean and nice sized. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a 5 star suite but it was nice. It is of course an older motel and there were a couple of issues. The bathroom was sticky and the toilet flush was a little finicky but it was nothing. After all, it is older and I'm sure most of you have something your own house that needs addressed. In a nutshell, we had a great nights sleep a much needed shower before getting back on the road. The people here at the Vernal, UT Motel 6 were more than friendly and accommodating with us arriving somewhat late they went out of their way to help us. Then we stood out in the parking lot and visited with the owners and some other guests for a while, one couple was just married and from Spain. We had a great time hearing about their wedding and the weeding of the owners sister. I would recommend staying here if you are in this area. Thank you for your accommodations.
Vernal was "just a place to sleep for the night" on our 4,300 mile motorcycle trip, a random spot on the map. It became a place I will visit again.
