Nice camp sites, well separated. Access road is paved. Some sites will accommodate big RVs. Showers and flush toilets are available, and most sites have vault toilets nearby. Address provided in Vernal is mailing address, not physical. Campground closes in mid-October.
Looks small on the map but quite big. A little further, like 2 min longer away fr the river and marine than Ceder Spring campground. Still very close. But exactly the same. Asphalt, tables, grill, water in the pump.no hook ups. No damp. Great location for boat launches. Parking both-pull through and back ins.
Similar to other National Forest Campgrounds but so clean! The husband and wife duo hosts are friendly and hardworking. There was never a moment when the husband wasn't working on campground upkeep. Showers were clean, outhouses didn't smell like outhouses, sites were well kept. The campground was a little loud but the hosts addressed it. Upon arrival we met the hosts and were given a map of hiking trails and some sight-seeing recommendations. I would recommend this campground to anyone- passing through or staying for a while.
