This place is awesome! We were in Vernal on an impromptu trip and needed somewhere cheap and fun for the kids. They have some pretty cool stuff to see and my 5 year old left there wanting to be a paleontologist!

This is a great museum and a fun family experience. Don't miss this if you're going to be in Vernal area. My kids especially loved the full-size dinosaur skeletons (huge!), the blacklight mineral room, and the dinosaur gardens.
Great fun!! We spent 2 hours there without kids, just looking and learning. Would recommend 100% for families, the kids (young and old) will enjoy it all.
My boys loved it, my husband loved it, and I loved it. That says a lot since we all have different tastes. One boy said the glowing rocks were his favorite, the other mentioned the outdoor garden and the gift shop. I found it all interesting- there's more than just dinosaur stuff here- rocks, bead work and woven baskets, paintings, hands on things for the kids, and huge dinosaurs!
Amazing collection in dinosaur bones and rocks! Very well later out and the staff was very helpful! A Must See if you are a dinosaur chaser. A great finish after stopping at the Dinosaur Quarry
