Ashley Regional, has exceptional staff, and terrible staff. You definitely take the roll of the dice. At all cost please stay away from Dr.Bowen and his staff. They will penny pinch you, misdiagnose, and do anything they can to cover their tracks. The administration is only there to protect the drs. Debbie Spafford told me herself that she is only there for the Drs. They do not care about patient care or safety. Thank you to the couple good people that are still left there.
I barely want to give them a star. The only reason they are getting a star is because my daughter feels better. I went in to the ER on January 1st and they told me that if I called back in the morning and paid they would give me a 55% discount. I called and paid what I was told that I would owe. I just got a bill in the mail for another $442.00. Which mind you was the amount they discounted me. I called and asked them about it and first off you can't even talk to them about it you have to call a place in OKLAHOMA to even get answer's on your account. When I called them they said that they are now billing me for the Dr. which I was told was already paid!! They will no longer ever get my business if that is how they run a company. I would rather drive 30 minutes to Roosevelt then go back.
I think this is the most paranoid hospital about opioid abuse that I've ever seen. I have chronic kidney stones. I knew I was passing a kidney stone. I had some pain pills that were not helping so I went into the hospital for help. I was in so much pain, yet they thought I was seeking help for pain. of course I was. I was in extreme pain. There was blood in my urine and I was throwing up in their bathrooms, signs that I was currently passing a stone. But they would not treat the pain. They did a CT scan, wasted my money to prove what I already knew, that I had kidney stones. They gave me a pain pill (I already had some as I told them when I came in) and sent me on my way. They did nothing to help the ease the pain, just made sure nothing else was wrong even though I obviously needed something stronger than a pill because the stone was passing and I couldn't handle the pain. Hospitals are supposed to make you feel better. I only left feeling like someone who they thought should be locked up or something. It was a horrible experience. They treated me terribly. I would drive to Roosevelt before going back there again!
I have read a lot of these reviews and most seem to have something to do with billing which I haven't dealt with yet stay tuned on that. But I do want to say I'm so grateful for these providers and this hospital who were there when we needed them so badly. My daughter was bitten by a bat and we needed the p.e.p shot to fight off rabies and I'm so glad we had them to take care of my daughters when we needed them most. They knew they were coming and they were ready for her. Thanks Ashley regional!
The hospital is a joke they wouldn't let me and my kids go back with my wife to see what is wrong in er the front desk is very rude recommend Rosevelt er there more friendly and knowledge
