Disgruntled EX-customer!
I ordered the DELUXE, "In Love with LIME" arrangement on a Friday. The on-line description of "In love with Lime," states the following: " This refreshing arrangement features dark pink roses, pink asiatic lilies, pink miniature carnations, bells of ireland, green button spray chrysanthemums, and huckleberry. Delivered in a glass cube."

When I pay for flowers, I expect flowers. It was a pretty arrangement, but not the arrangement that I ordered. Extra greenery/ filler does not make an arrangement "deluxe." If you can't deliver an arrangement of flowers that are CLEARLY certain colors/hues... Call the customer! When a customer has a concern & says, "this is nothing like what I ordered," do not automatically get defensive. There are seminars that help individuals and businesses improve customer conflict. Highly recommend looking in to it!

I have been ordering flowers from Vernal Floral for many years. I recently had a bouquet of flowers sent to my mom for Valentine's. The day the flowers were delivered, mom called me to tell me how absolutely beautiful the flowers were. A few days later she called again, repeating to me how absolutely beautiful the flowers were, & that she was amazed & thrilled at how gorgeous they were.Two weeks later, mom called again, and still, the flowers were beautiful and still in the vase, giving her all the enjoyment I had hoped for. I can't say how pleased I was & what a great job Vernal Floral does taking good care of their customers. Rula, thank you for taking such good care of my mom and having a company customers can count on for quality product & service.

As for the customer service, when I called upset that the recipient received the "deluxe filler," and that the cheery lime green and bright pink arrangement was nothing cheery or lime green, the florist immediately raised her voice to me (and had the crazy notion that I would not get snippy and react to her lack of civility). At one point she made the statement, "I have prom that I'm dealing with." Uhm, she's a florist, prom is a benefit to her business, and regardless... prom has NOTHING to do with the arrangement that I paid for. Lastly, her idea of "fixing" the issue was to get off the phone with me because she wanted to close shop in 30 minutes and needed to call the recipient of my order, so the recipient could drive the arrangement back for the florist to fix. Seriously??? The recipient was happy to receive the bouquet and had no clue that it was not anything similar to what was ordered. I ordered the arrangement, I paid for the arrangement, the florist was responsible to create an arrangement of similar quality to my order! The recipient should not have been pulled in to the issue. Not-to-mention, the recipient has been physically incapable of driving due to recent medical issues (the reason I ordered them in the first place). The florist called the recipient despite my request to not involve her!

The arrangement was pretty, but it was NOT remotely similar to what I had paid for. "In love with LIME" was delivered with absolutely NO LIME colored flowers or even lime foliage. I chose THAT arrangement specifically because of the pink/lime combo. I contacted the florist and instead of being civil and hearing me out, she immediately got defensive. It was rudely explained to me that they do not receive shipments on Fridays and had no Bells of Ireland or lime green button spray Chrysanthemums. I understand that florists have to substitute occasionally, but rather than put comparable flowers in it (comparable in color AND quality), they stuffed it with a ton of dark green leafy stems and wax flower! They essentially replaced the flowers with inexpensive FILLER! Also, I upgraded from the standard to the "deluxe" version (which is supposed to have a few extra of each type of flowers in it) and see no evidence of any extra roses, lilies or carnations in it. The only thing "extra" was all the filler (see below).
.... And a TON of wide leaved green filler topped off with a lime green sheer ribbon!

The arrangement may have been pretty, but it wasn't the quality or color scheme I ordered. The customer service was terrible! This florist was rude and I would probably write a less harsh review had she acted more civilly to my concerns.
