Love the staff at Larsen-Haslem Dental; they are all very patient with my kids. My husband absolutely hates going to dentists and he even likes the staff and enjoys going to the dentist again.

i went in for a cleaning and x-rays because i thought i could have a cavity. they said they had a cancellation and i went in that morning. they started with the x-rays and were almost finished when the hygienist had trouble with the machine and said she would finish later. larson came in to do the consultation. after looking over the x-rays he said i had a single tooth that had significant tarter buildup. he said the best course would be to come in for a deep cleaning. he would not do the standard cleaning because that would not help the problem. i had told him that i had just moved to town and i could not afford a deep cleaning and he suggested i do it in stages. i could not afford the $800 for a deep cleaning and he would not do the standard cleaning so i left very disappointed. over the next few days the side of my mouth where the tartar buildup was in excruciating pain. i was desperate so i started to dig around my self. i removed a large piece of dark tartar/calculus? and a over the course of two days two more pieces rose up and were removed. that gave me an enormous amount of relieve and the inflamed gum is now back to normal. i am convinced that a standard cleaning would have helped me immensely but in the end i had to help myself. i have been scraping my teeth myself and gargling with hydrogen peroxide and flossing very regularly and everything has returned to normal. my visit cost me 100 dollars for incomplete x-rays and one very greedy consultation. beware.
We love Larsen Haslem dental. We have been taking our children there since they first got teeth and they are so good making the atmosphere friendly and non threatening. Our whole family has benefited. Very professional and family oriented. Love our dental experience.
